Tobacco Trail Bicycle Rentals
TTBR is based at Carolina Solite Park, 4704 Fayetteville Road, in southwestern Durham. The park entrance is between the intersections of Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway to the north and Barbee Road to the south. Solite Park is across the street from the UDI Business Park.

The American Tobacco Trail crosses Fayetteville Road at the intersection with Barbee, and can be accessed directly from the park. Please visit our Links page for more info about the ATT.
The sign for Solite Park faces the road, not oncoming traffic, so it's a little hard to see. The turn from Fayetteville Road is just at the northern end of the left-turn lane. There's a long gravel lane leading into the park. Look for our "Bicycle Rentals" sign!
TTBR's parking spaces are on the left as you enter the park. There is additional parking at the end of the lane near the playground equipment.
DIRECTIONS TO SOLITE PARK
FROM RTP and I-40:
From I-40, take Exit 278 for Highway 55 and head north toward downtown Durham for 1.7 miles. Turn left at the second light onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway. Travel 1.25 miles and turn left at the light onto Fayetteville Road. Travel 0.2 miles. Solite Park's gravel lane is on the right, just before the next traffic light at Barbee Road.
From RTP on Highway 54, turn right onto Highway 55. Cross under I-40 and continue as above.
From RTP on Cornwallis Road, turn left onto Highway 55. Go about 0.1 mile to the next light, and turn right onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway. Continue as above.
FROM THE SOUTHPOINT AREA and CHAPEL HILL:
From Highway 54, turn north onto Fayetteville Road and travel about 2.3 miles. Immediately after the light at Barbee Road, turn left into Solite Park's gravel lane.
Note: Expect construction delays at the Woodcroft Parkway intersection.
FROM DOWNTOWN DURHAM:
From the Durham Freeway, take Exit 11 for Highway 55 and travel south 3.6 miles. Turn right at the light onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway. Travel 1.25 miles and turn left at the light onto Fayetteville Road. Solite Park's gravel lane is on the right, just before the next traffic light at Barbee Road.
